MHMR works to increase housing opportunities for homeless people receiving services from MHMR.
HOW TO GET HELP:
MHMR has programs to help men, women, families and veterans.
Crisis Residential Unit - Provides a safe environment for adults who are experiencing a crisis. Will monitor and provide programming, including group and individual counseling, and
training of community reintegration skills.
Crisis Respite - Provides short-term treatment for adults, children and adolescents at risk of psychiatric crisis.
Jennings Place - A 24-hour transitional housing facility that is committed to the successful transition of men and women into community living.
Liberty House - A 30-bed transitional housing program for homeless male veterans with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health problems. Offers veterans the opportunity to live and work in a safe and drug free environment while practicing their recovery skills.
Anyone experiencing homeless can contact the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition helpline at 817-996-8800 to receive information and referrals Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The True Worth Day Shelter located at 1513 E. Presidio, Fort Worth also provides homeless service Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by calling 817-289-7474
