MHMR provides substance use outpatient services to boys and girls, ages 13-17, at two locations in Tarrant County. Both locations provide group-based treatment. Treatment is based on the adolescent’s individual needs. Other services included:
- Group therapy (Cannabis Youth Treatment)
- Individual therapy (ACRA/ACC)
- Qualified credentialed substance use counselors
- Parent education
- Family and family systems support
- Support educational goals
- FWISD truancy court liaison
- Tarrant County juvenile probation liaison
- Group programs located in Fort Worth and Hurst
- Spanish-speaking counselors and staff

- Include the client and family in the recovery process
- Improve family communication and relationships
- Educate parents about substance abuse and related behaviors

- Help clients and families actively participate in recovery
- Make referrals to community services and support groups
