My name is Leila Love. I was born and raised in Jamaica and
immigrated to the United States at age 11. I grew up in the Bronx,
New York. Upon graduation I attended the University of Texas at
Arlington and have since made Texas my home.
I have been coming to MHMR of Tarrant County for 7 to 8 years
after experiencing several losses in my life. The MHMR staff at
Arlington Clinic are my friends. They are a strong support and not
just a place to go get medication. Every time I call for help, they
always call me right back. There is even a staff member at Arlington
Clinic that prays for me. MHMR of Tarrant County takes care of me.
My dearest hobby is traveling;
appreciating new cultures of foreign
lands with their people and their foods.
I have visited over 40 countries, many
by myself. Another of my passions
is the excitement of underwater
photography. I recently published
my first book, Twitch, Twitch, about
bullying in the workplace.
