Journey to Recovery through the Artist’s Eye
On May 8, 2015, MHMR Visions, in collaboration with the Paulos Foundation, presented the Journey to Recovery art exhibit at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. Twenty-five works of art on display were inspired by the stories of men and women in residential addiction treatment at Pine Street Recovery Center. In the fall of 2014, the artists were invited to tour Pine Street and visit with people in residential treatment who shared their journey through addiction and the road back to sobriety. Eight pieces of art were awarded top honors. They were purchased by Paulos Foundation and donated to Pine Street where they will grace the walls and inspire others for years to come.
