Jim Teague is the owner of Teague Lumber Company on White Settlement Road. He is a long-time member of the Colonial Country Club and served for many years as a member of the Colonial PGA Tournament Committee. He also is a Lumberman’s Association member and past President and has been instrumental in encouraging that association to make donations to our IDD division. He has specific interest in the IDD area since two of his daughters have IDD. One of them resides at Brenham State Facility and the other resides in a MHMR group home. Jim and his wife, Linda, are also active with Camp Summit.
The Teagues were recipients of the Visions Opening Doors Leader Award in 2009 in recognition of their outstanding vision, leadership and commitment to persons with disabilities.
